NJS Lighting Solutions thrive in the opportunities to engage with designers and engineering teams to provide sustainable lighting solutions. This is especially true of this fit out project at the recently opened St James Quarter in the heart of Edinburgh. There are 80 plus shops and cafes within the mall with 10% of these lit with Arlico Lighting products from our retail portfolio.
The brief from the consultant engineer was clearly advised basing the design on flexibility to suit the needs and functionality of each brand within the space.
The units vary in floor space and shape with requirements for general, emergency and back of house lighting. Whilst the lighting design was reasonably straight forward the accuracy in producing flexibility, uniformity and the desired lighting level was challenging in a few of the units.
Arlico Lighting Teres spots and track, vamp corrosion proof and downlight choices of Phoebe, Vibe and Snoop were installed across the project.
As the photos show the outcome was conclusive of tier 1 best in class products from Arlico Lighting. Having visited each store personally all the tenants commented positively and are extremely happy with their working environment. We wish to acknowledge the cooperation from all who were involved in the project.
